Building A Craft9 year old Jack Sternberg was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the age of 2. Like many Autistic Spectrum children Jack struggles to socialize and needs to be taught social graces that develop over time in others.Once a week for 8 weeks Jack attended the Minecraft Club. The Minecraft Club was established with the intention of addressing concerns about children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Through the use of the Minecraft video game, the club uses this special interest alongside social skills training to address the social difficulties that come along with having an Autism Spectrum Disorder. "I want to see him socialize independently," said Jacks mother, Dr. Elizabeth Sternberg."I want him to have friends and not be scared in groups and know how to approach people. Those are all things a lot of kids learn as they grow up that is a little bit harder for him to do." Role: Videographer/Producer

Grandchamps: A Taste of HaitiGrandchamps is a newly established restaurant bringing the tradition of Haitian food and culture to its Bed-Stuy neighborhood. Owners and married couple Sabrina and Shawn Brockman established the restaurant to share Sabrina’s Haitian culture with the community to allow for an understanding of Haiti through Haitian cuisine. Grandchamps also engages with the community through hiring local residents and using services from local establishments nearby. The name and atmosphere derive from Sabrina’s Haitian heritage and the recipes passed through her matriarchal lineage. Shawn serves as chef for the restaurant after learning how to prepare traditional Haitian meals from Sabrina’s mother, Francoise Grandchamp. Role: Videographer/Producer
